At NAU, too many students are balancing academics with the stress of not knowing where their next meal will come from. Rising costs make it harder to afford groceries, even for those doing everything right.

Housed in the Lumberjack CARE Center, Louie’s Cupboard—NAU's free food pantry—continually adapts to meet the changing needs of students. Donor support helps provide a wider variety of nutritious foods, including protein-rich options that keep students full and help fuel learning, as well as gluten-free items and other staples for students with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Your gift can provide support right away:

• $25 can provide a grab-and-go grocery bag and two sack lunches

• $50 can provide 20 hearty cans of soup

• $100 can stock Louie’s Cupboard with additional meals or help fund a LEAF emergency grant

Increased costs of living create additional challenges for students. At NAU, 61% of students experience food insecurity (Arizona State University, 26%, and University of Arizona, 34%).
